| WATER CLARITY |
- When opening your pool at the beginning of the season, run your filter 24/7 for the first few days until the water is completely clear.
- If your pool water appears green or has an unpleasant odor, this is caused by algae. Test the chlorine level and call the office.
- Pool returns should be pointed up to get ripple effect across the top of water.

HOW TO VACUUM YOUR POOL
Turn off all pumps. Make sure that skimmer baskets are cleaned. Close White skimmer flap (inside your skimmer) furthest away from swimming pool pump Leaving the skimmer flap open in the skimmer to the pump. On the suction side of your manifold the only valve that should be open is your skimmer valve ALL other valves on suction side should be closed. On the return side of your Manifold (you may find it easier to see debris if you shut off your waterfalls & top returns) leaving open only your Deep heat Returns Turn on your pump and check your skimmer for suction.
**Caution suction can be strong**
Stretch out your vacuum hose along side of your pool. Snap the vacuum head into the end of the vacuum pole. Slip one end of the vacuum hose into the vacuum head. If your vacuum hose has a swivel cuff make sure it goes onto the vacuum head. Prime the hose. Place vacuum head with the hose and pole attached into the pool. Place the hose end you should have it in your hand against the return fitting and allow the water to displace the air in the vacuum hose. The vacuum head will rise and bubble when it settles to the bottom of the pool. Cup your hand over the vacuum hose and attach it to your skimmer with your (Skimvac) vacuum plate. Vacuum the pool slowly, if you move the head to quickly you'll stir up debris. When vacuuming is finished, disconnect and remove drain hose then store, restore all valves to normal positions and backwash the pool. |
CHEMICAL LEVELS

Scale & corrosive conditions occur when your P.H. & total alkalinity are out of balance.
Frequent testing can help prevent this.
